Anushka Fernando is an educator and learning designer who holds a Master’s in Education from Harvard University. Her specialization is in social-emotional learning, human flourishing and the creation of meaningful learning experiences. She brings a multidisciplinary perspective that combines research, learning design, creativity and a strong focus on the human experience.

Anushka has worked across education, international development, social impact and entrepreneurship in several countries.

Anushka is particularly interested in translating complex ideas into engaging, practical learning experiences that people can apply in their work and everyday lives.

She is also a co-host of Soul Cast, a platform exploring how women can take ideas about personal growth and wellbeing and turn them into meaningful everyday practice.

Alongside her work in learning and development, Anushka explores the relationship between food, art, beauty and wellbeing, and the role that creativity, shared experiences and everyday rituals can play in connection and flourishing.

With over 16 years of experience spanning Human Resources, business transformation, technology, operations and organisational development, Shinalee Pieris works with organizations and leaders to build stronger capabilities, transform ways of working and achieve sustainable business growth.

Her career includes experience with global organisations such as Unilever and Accenture, where she gained extensive exposure to digital transformation, business excellence, people management, process improvement and large-scale organisational initiatives. At Unilever, she contributed to digital and SAP transformation initiatives impacting large, cross-functional teams, while at Accenture she worked across business excellence and transformation, earning recognition as a Core Value Champion.

She later moved into leadership roles within high-growth environments, including leading strategy and operations while supporting significant organisational scaling and transformation. Her experience spans workforce transformation, HR strategy, operating models, change management, leadership development, digital transformation and organisational capability building.

Today, Shinalee combines this corporate experience with her work as an entrepreneur, consultant, trainer and coach. She supports organisations through capability assessments, leadership programmes, corporate training, executive coaching, team development and future-skills initiatives, including preparing organisations and their people for an AI-enabled workplace.

Her leadership and contribution have been recognised through multiple industry awards, including Asia’s Woman Leader 2026, presented in Singapore, alongside previous recognitions including Women Super Achiever in Technology and Leadership Excellence awards.
